A barrister and entrepreneur with a strong record in financial services, technology, healthcare, energy and premium consumer brands. Shaan's leadership blends legal expertise, strategic clarity and a deep commitment to community impact.
A specialist in agriculture and corporate governance, Mr Li Yuen Fong brings over four decades of senior leadership across Mauritius and Africa, including roles as General Manager of Mtibwa Sugar Estate in Tanzania, General Secretary of the Mauritius Chamber of Agriculture, and Director of the Mauritius Sugar Producers Association. He serves on the boards of Business Mauritius, the Mauritius Cane Industry Authority and the Sugar Industry Pension Fund, and was appointed Non-Executive Director of the company in 2016.
